99% Invisible has helped grow my passion for design and architecture and has opened my eyes to all the “little things” that go unnoticed by many. I have such a greater appreciation for the creativity of others and their attention to detail because of this podcast. I’ve learned how barbed wire came about and how it changed the course of American History. I’ve learned about a “fake” battalion used in the world wars. I’ve seen a building that has trees built into it (along with moss). How amazing is our world and the role imagination plays in it?
I’m addicted to this podcast and love that my daughter asks me every night at dinner, “So what did you learn today?” It’s increased my thirst for knowledge and it’s a way to pass it down to my kids.
